
Reeth Show 2025
A beloved end-of-summer tradition in Swaledale, Reeth Show returns for one day only at the end of August with its winning mix of agriculture, crafts, sport and family fun in one of the most scenic showgrounds in Yorkshire 🌿
Enjoy a packed schedule of attractions including:
- Horse, sheep and cattle classes
- Vintage vehicles – tractors, cars, motorbikes and bikes
- Horticulture & handicraft competitions
- Dog show, children’s competitions and family activities
- Open dry stone walling competition with £300 top prize 🧱
- Local food and craft stalls
- Face painting, Punch & Judy, and children’s rides
The Great Fremington Edge Fell Race – a thrilling highlight of the day – sets off mid-afternoon, while the main ring hosts mounted fancy dress, driving competitions and showpiece displays.
The day begins with Reeth Brass Band leading the show committee and judges through the village and ends with a bustling showfield full of music, animals, demos, shopping, and laughter.
🕘 Gates open to the public at 9.30am (£10 adults, £2 under 14s)
🐑 Sheepdog trials and walling start from 9.30am
🏇 Horse judging starts at 9.30am
🎭 Attractions run throughout the day, with fell races starting from 3pm
