🎃 Mad Alice’s Ghost Train runs on 19 October, 26 October & 2 November 2025, departing from Pickering Station for a haunted return journey to Levisham.
Step aboard for an hour‑long immersive experience as Mad Alice guides you through spectral tales and chilling folklore across the North York Moors:
- 🚂 Return journey between Pickering and Levisham
- 👻 Live actors aboard the train and at stations
- 📖 Ghost stories and local supernatural legends
- 🎭 A dramatic retelling of The Signalman by Charles Dickens
- 🍸 Mini Bloody Orange Gin & Tonic for adults (18+)
- 🥤 Soft drink included for ages 14–17
- 🕕 Evening departures at 6:15pm or 8:00pm
🎟️ Tickets: £40 for adults (18+) / £35 for young people (14–17)
Not suitable for under 14s. Young people must be accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Important info:
- Not suitable for those with a nervous disposition
- Guests must be able to walk to their seats unaided; wheelchair-accessible carriages are not available
- Dogs are not permitted, except assistance dogs
- The train runs non-stop and tickets are not interchangeable with regular services
- Parking at Pickering Station is limited—arrive early
- Cancellation policy varies based on notice period (from full refunds to none under 7 days)
