94 94 people viewed this event.

Step back in time at the Ingleton 1940s Weekend, a free, family-friendly celebration packed with wartime nostalgia, vintage style and good old-fashioned entertainment.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the era with live music, fashion shows, living history displays and an impressive array of military and civilian vehicles.

Wander through stalls selling vintage curios, watch re-enactors bring the past to life, and pick up tips from the on-site hairstylist to perfect your 40s look.

When you’re ready for a break, drop by The Regiment bar for a tipple or grab tea and a butty at the pop-up café — with all proceeds supporting the event and Ingleborough Community Centre.

Friday 4 July:
Kick things off at 7pm with Sweetheart Sadie performing favourite wartime classics in the Community Centre — the perfect way to get into the swing of things.

Saturday 5 July:
The highlight is the Saturday Night Dance from 7.30pm, featuring the Mike Brown Swing Band and vintage DJ Paddy O’Kaye. Tickets £15 on the door.

Sunday 6 July:
Round off the weekend in style at the Tea Dance with Hep to the Jive from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the Community Centre — tickets available on the door.

Programmes with full times and venues are available on the day. Keep an eye out for donation buckets and enjoy a warm village welcome at this nostalgic celebration!
