A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Helmsley Walled Garden

On Friday 1 August 2025, join acclaimed theatre troupe The Three Inch Fools at Helmsley Walled Garden for a joyful open-air performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Shakespeare’s most beloved comedy, reimagined with riotous energy and live music.

As twilight falls over the garden, mischief stirs in the forest: fairies feud, lovers tangle, and a band of hopeless actors rehearse a play within the play. With Puck pulling the strings, expect laughs, love spells and plenty of mayhem in this fast-paced, family-friendly show.

Gates open at 6pm for picnics, with the performance beginning at 7pm. Bring blankets or low-back chairs and come prepared for the Yorkshire weather – the show goes ahead rain or shine.
